Earlier this month, IT at headquarters announced a unified password policy across the institution.  The new policy follows ITGC's recommendation of utilizing policy guidelines from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).  Since it went into effect, ~50% of my users have changed their password to comply with the new policy.  Yup, only half of our community :'-(  I'd really like DPB and DGE be at the 80-90% mark by this time next week.


Once the policy is enforced on March 1st, anyone who hasn't changed their password since the policy went into effect will be effectively locked out and forced to do so.  Not ideal, but this is a required step to ensure all accounts are secured.
